NMSU Career Services to host fifth annual Health Professions Career Fair
The fifth annual Health Professions Career Fair is co-sponsored by the New Mexico State University Career Services office and the College of Health and Social Services and will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 6 on the first floor of Corbett Center Student Union.
The event provides students, alumni and community members an opportunity to meet with representatives from hospitals, social service agencies and graduate programs seeking to hire or recruit students in nursing or other health-related professions from the College of Agricultural, Consumer and Environmental Sciences: human nutrition and dietetic science and family and consumer science; College of Education: counseling and educational psychology, kinesiology and special education and communication disorders; and College of Health and Social Services: nursing, public health sciences and social work.
“This fair focuses on one of the largest industries in the country, with nearly 22 million jobs projected for 2022. Students will be benefitting by learning first-hand about this flourishing career field,” said Roseanne Bensley, NMSU Career Services associate director.
