Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility in Alamogordo, NM.

Students majoring in engineering, biology, chemistry, environmental science, economics or another area related to the nexus of water, energy and the environment are invited to apply for the New Mexico State University Institute for Energy and the Environment 2014 Spring Water Fellowship Program.

Fellowship participants will get practical, hands-on experience conducting water research with faculty and staff at IEE and/or the Brackish Groundwater National Desalination Research Facility in Alamogordo, N.M. They also will receive financial assistance and will be able to do meaningful work to help meet regional, national and global water needs.

Fellowships are available to full-time undergraduate students who are taking an environmentally related course of studies and have a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher.
