ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. - Making holiday memories is the theme for the 2012 Holiday Craft Showcase hosted by New Mexico State University's Bernalillo County Extension Service on Wednesday, Nov. 28, at the Bernalillo County 4-H Building, 1510 Menaul Extension Blvd. NW.

"This is the third year we have held this event," said Donna Parker Sauter, Bernalillo County Extension home economist. "It was a great success last year. The participants really enjoyed making the craft items."

There will be two sessions, 10 a.m. to noon and 6 to 8 p.m., in which Extension home economists from Bernalillo, Sandoval, Torrance and McKinley counties will lead a variety of craft activities.

Crafts will include a variety of Christmas ornaments and decorations, including a candy tray made from candy mints.

Cost is $10 per person. Participants need to reserve their spot in either the morning or evening event by calling 505-243-1386.
