NMSU's Department of Communication Studies to host Debate Watch
The debate watch is co-hosted by the NMSU Communication Studies Graduate Students Association and the Undergraduate Communication Studies Club.
"Debate Watch provides a way for voters to learn more about the presidential candidates and issues by watching the debates and discussing them with other voters," said Kenneth Hacker, professor of communication studies. "Formal debate watches were created by the National Communication Association and provided data to the Commission on Presidential Debates regarding what voters like about the debates and what they would like to be changed."
This will also be an opportunity for students to voter perceptions as well as allowing individuals who attend a chance to share their views.
