New Mexico State University has announced the final four candidates for the university’s provost position.

The finalists include Victor Prybutok, vice provost for graduate education and dean of the Toulouse Graduate School and Regents Professor at the University of North Texas; Carol Parker, vice president for academic affairs at the University of Texas-El Paso; John Griffin, associate provost and dean of undergraduate studies and professor of biology at Clemson University; and John Paul “JP” Jones, dean of the College of Social and Behavioral Sciences at the University of Arizona.

The candidates will be on the Las Cruces campus April 29 and 30 and May 2 and 13. While here, the candidates will be presenting at an open forum for all faculty, staff and students from 2-3 p.m. in the Corbett Center Auditorium.
